Sleep Now in the Fire

The world is my expense

The cost of my desire

Jesus blessed me with its future

And I protect it with fire

So raise your fists

And march around

Just don't take what you need

I'll jail and bury those committed

And smother the rest in greed

Crawl with me into tomorrow

Or I'll drag you to your grave

I'm deep inside your children

They'll betray you in my name

Hey, hey

Sleep now in the fire

Hey, hey

Sleep now in the fire

The lie is my expense

The scope of my desire

The party blessed me with its future

And I protect it with fire

I am the Nina The Pinta The Santa Maria

The noose and the rapist

The fields overseer

The agent of orange

The priests of Hiroshima

The cost of my desire

Sleep now in the fire

Hey, hey

Sleep now in the fire

Hey, hey

Sleep now in the fire

For it's the end of history

It's caged and frozen still

There is no other pill to take

So swallow the one

That made you ill

The Nina The Pinta The Santa Maria

The noose and the rapist

The fields overseer

The agent of orange

The priests of Hiroshima

The cost of my desire

Agent Orange

  • How many people died in Vietnam because of Agent Orange?
  • How many birth defects were caused by Agent Orange?
  • Was Agent Orange really necessary?

Fire

  • How was fire first discovered?
  • Is fire used more for evil or for good?
  • How many forest fires have occurred in America over the past year? Decade?
  • How many people still use fire to heat their homes?
  • How many people still use fire as a source of light?
  • Fire is one of the four classical elements along with wind, water, and earth.
  • The four classical elements correspond to the modern-day states of matter. Wind, water, and earth correspond to gas, liquid, and solid respectively while fire corresponds to plasma.
  • Wildfires are primarily caused by lightning strikes, underground coal fires, volcanic activity, and spontaneous combustion.
  • Heavy winds can help fires spread more rapidly by brining in huge amounts of oxygen which is needed for combustion.

Priests of Hiroshima

On August 6, 1945, the day a nuclear bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, a house with a church attached to it was occupied by eight German priests. Miraculously, the house and its occupants survived even though the bomb was dropped eight blocks away.
